Canadian Cancer Research Conference

With over 1,000 participants, nearly 600 abstract submissions, and 27 conference supporters, the 2013 CCRC concluded on November 6th to wide acclaim. The scientific program, which spanned the cancer research spectrum, was well-received – 90% of evaluation respondents reported being satisfied or very satisfied with the quality of the plenary sessions and symposia. The Careers in Cancer Research Development Program, hosted by the CIHR Institute of Cancer Research and the Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute, was interwoven throughout the conference and provided useful information and resources for the new generation of cancer researchers.
